Readiness Checklist

Autonomous agents operate using strict service accounts that inherit the exact permissions of the human triggering the workflow, preventing unauthorized database queries.

API gateways explicitly whitelist the specific internal systems and endpoints an agent is permitted to contact. "Any-to-any" network access is strictly prohibited for AI actors.

The Control Plane actively monitors for and immediately blocks any agent attempting to alter its own permissions or bypass Multi-Factor Authentication prompts.

All Personally Identifiable Information is programmatically redacted or tokenized before entering the context window of any external Large Language Model.

The organization maintains an immutable ledger detailing exactly which datasets were used to fine-tune internal models, satisfying EU AI Act transparency requirements.

Strict data tenancy rules prevent an agent operating in one business unit (e.g., Marketing) from accidentally cross-referencing sensitive data from another unit (e.g., HR Payroll).

Every action taken by an autonomous agent is logged immutably. These logs cannot be altered or deleted by the engineering teams managing the agents.

Compliance teams can reliably reconstruct the exact "chain of thought", prompt history, and database responses that led an agent to make a specific automated decision.

High-risk workflows (e.g., executing financial transactions over a set dollar amount) are hardcoded to pause and require explicit human sign-off before completion.

A centralized, instantaneous mechanism exists to isolate or terminate an agentic workflow if anomalous behavior, infinite looping, or severe hallucinations are detected.

Agent outputs are programmatically parsed and verified by a secondary, deterministic rules engine to ensure they meet structural formats before executing system commands.

Written compliance policies are actively translated into software logic enforced by the AI Control Plane, replacing manual compliance checklists with systemic architecture.
